Youth, Poverty and Risks in the Earthquake Region
In Hatay, Adana, and Mersin, we examine young people’s living conditions, education and employment status, and risk factors through 600 surveys, 30 in-depth interviews, and 6 focus groups.
A research programme that tracks social change through data—combining fieldwork, public data, and policy analysis.
Forum Research approaches social issues through a “field + data + context” lens: we combine lived experience from the field with quantitative measurement and interpret findings within historical and theoretical frames. Our goal is not only to answer “what is happening?” but also “why?” and “what can be done?”—producing evidence-based options that can inform public debate.
We design methods around the research question, combining quantitative tools (surveys, administrative data analysis, indicator and index work) and qualitative tools (in-depth interviews, focus groups, participant observation, case studies). Across research design, data collection, analysis, reporting, and publication, we place particular emphasis on ethics, data security, and participant privacy.
Projects grounded in field research and data analysis.
